A Little Story on Vinayaka chaturthi

He is the most loved God and Hindu mythology is full of interesting stories about Ganesha, one of the most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. And, there's an entire festival celebrating the birth of Ganesha and it's called Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi.
The festival falls in the months of August or September of the Gregorian calendar. The celebratory festival is marked by people installing Ganesha idols at their homes or in elaborate pandals. Lord Ganesha is worshipped during the festival and people offer prayers along with prasad, which is later distributed amongst people.
Vinayaka Chaturthi ends on the tenth day after the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi begins, but these days people immerse the idol in a water body after a public procession. This year many of us will be bringing a Ganesha home and sending warm wishes to our loved ones on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and here's a look at some beautiful Ganesh Chaturthi greeting cards you can share with your close ones.
Happy Vinayaka chaturthi to you and your Family Members, Friends well-wishers and everyone....
